Calls to Us
Film Synopsis

Calls to Us is the weaving of a historic tale as told by the charming business owner Karen at the Eventuary; a tale of a homestead turned Lincoln City’s first hospital, then long time mortuary and finally a business for a time. The business was the Eventuary which with the buildings past has the unfortunate backbone of a place where tragic injustices were done. Karen’s stories are backed up through the readings of many world class psychic  mediums, historic and paranormal stories from business owner and further validated through direct communication with what could be intelligent entities through devices during paranormal investigations. Deeper than the face of things, this is a story about what calls to us and pulls us in directions we can’t see the end of but blindly follow anyway. It’s a story told while living through personal grief and delivers hope that there is something else out there.

Why are we called to tell the stories that we do? What compels us to move forward in this way? We ask for psychic Medium Sarah Lemos to tell of her personal experiences growing up with her gifts of insite to better show what it’s like for people to follow what calls to them. Maybe it’s not for us to understand but to just honor this call and move forward in the end. Maybe part of the telling of this and other stories is learning when to know your part has been played and when to walk away.
