Derek Wachter is a self-published American author, born in Yakima, Washington in 1982. He has written a total of 8 books and is writing more at this time. Genres of his writing include horror/thriller, as well as historical fiction stories.
Derek possesses an associate degree, bachelor degree, two master degrees, and is currently working on his Ph.D. in Forensic Psychology. In his free time, he enjoys spending his time with family, traveling, riding his motorcycle (to which you can find his motorcycle riding channel on YouTube under the title of Phantom Rider 698), amateur landscape photography, golf with his friends, and of course, writing.
