Ouija Boards: Misconceptions & Applications

Class Description:

In this class, attendees will have the opportunity to learn, hands-on, about the occult tool from an actual Occult Specialist: We will explore the history and development of the Ouija board, discuss the misconceptions of the board found in the media and mainstream culture, examine use of the board as a paranormal tool to communicate with outside stimuli, as well as a parapsychological tool to communicate with the self. First half is lecture and a live demonstration, second half is hands-on exploration and application. Patrons are encouraged to bring their own boards.

Class Outcomes:

Attendees will leave having their fears of the board dispelled, as well as acquire a general working knowledge of the relevancy and proper application of the board.
