Ghostoria was born out of the boredom that was Covid 2020. Nathalie Kellow, the founding member, and a co-worker, started the group and originated formal tours at Gulley’s Butcher Shop in Astoria, Oregon. Not long after, Signe Condon joined them, and when the other member left, she stepped in and she and Nat became “partners in crime”. They have investigated over 50 locations together in the years since that fateful meeting in the underground of Astoria. The first Oregon Ghost Conference they attended was in 2022. They perused the vendors, got readings, went to classes, and participated in all the investigations. They had so much fun that they wanted to volunteer in any way they could. They were given an opportunity in 2023 to host two investigation locations for the OGC, and as they say, the rest is history. They have been vendors and investigation hosts every year since. In addition to the OGC investigations, they host public benefit investigations every October for the Liberty Theater and the Elks Lodge, both located in Astoria.
